Windows Mobile Applications Engineer: Full Time: Greater Boston Area

Job Description:
We need a talented Engineer to join the Mobile Applications Development Group to help drive new ideas and features for clients growing mobile product strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, publishing and supporting applications that run on Windows Mobile, iPhone, Blackberry, Symbian and Android smart phones.
The Clients goal is to:
Deploy Mobile Smartphone application on Windows Mobile and other common smart phones. (currently supported by BlackBerry devices ). While concerned with all mobile application development, this individual will first be focused on implementing the mobile applications for Windows Mobile devices. Will also be responsible for effective participation in product feature design, product development and product releases. (More details about the clients mobile applications are available on your interest in demand).
Skills:
-BSCS/BSIS or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in enterprise/commercial software development.
Other Desirable skills and knowledge include:
- Demonstrated experience with creating and publishing mobile applications for various devices
- Windows Mobile application development experience (NET, C/C++, Visual Studio, etc.)
- Use of Windows Mobile APIs for event notification and native phone functions
- Application development for Windows desktop solutions
- Development and use of web services (XML)
- Configuration management (Clear Case preferred) and bug tracking (Clear Quest preferred) systems
- Small footprint application development for smart phones and application development with fixed APIs
- Software architecture and SDKs for various platforms such as Windows, iPhone, Symbian, Android, BlackBerry, etc.
- Basic Linux fundamentals and various programming languages (C/C++, C#, Objective C, Perl, SQL, etc.)
- Strong verbal communications and written skills for documentation practices
