Rockstar Python Developer
We are looking for an experienced developer to join an existing team in development of an exciting and extremely disruptive web application.
The Position
You will be working directly with our founders, developing the most interesting and unique applications you can think of. Our site is very unique and thus the programming will be challenging and also rewarding.
Career Potential
We would like to start someone part-time immediately and then transition the position to full-time as quickly as possible. We want someone who is in it for the long run and wants to see a startup with massive potential grow from the ground up
Required Skills
Candidates should be exceptionally experienced in Python and Django, and have knowledge of and experience with Java, Javascript and AJAX. Cross platform development experience on other mobile/embedded runtime platforms incl. iPhone, Symbian, Linux, Windows Mobile, J2ME
Experience with relational databases and complex search engines strongly preferred. Should possess a strong knowledge of database programming/querying. Experience with MySQL or Postgres is desired.
Experience with Git, SVN and other tracking tools.
Experience with mobile development or optimizing websites for mobile is required.
Must reside in or be able to feasibly commute to Berlin.
This is the ideal way to get in on the ground floor of an exciting startup with massive growth potential.
You will also be joining an experienced team dedicated to making our vision a reality.
Compensation
Exceptionally qualified candidates may be eligible for stock options in addition to a base salary!
