Mobile Applications Consultant

The Mobile Application Consultant is responsible for working with client companies to design and build mobile applications using the company’s mobile application platform. The platform provides an intuitive visual development environment that allows a person to rapidly build a dynamic mobile application. This person will identify specific business requirements, design and build the mobile application to meet those requirements, and work with the customer to ensure a successful product implementation. This position will be responsible for product implementations, involving cutting edge technologies, at more than one customer site at a time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver successful product implementations on time and within budget
• Identify and document business requirements and objectives that affect product configuration and installation
• Possess an intimate knowledge of relevant product technologies, handheld devices (Android, BlackBerry, iPhone and other), mobile and wireless architectures and middleware, and databases
• Produce daily and weekly status reports for all project activities and maintains project documentation (e.g., status reports, risk log, project plan, configuration documents)
• Works closely with Product Management to contribute product ideas, customer feedback, and design & development assistance
• Serve as pre-sales and post-sales product specialist when needed
• Perform project reviews
• Travel is required; up to 25%
Desired Qualifications:
• BA in Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 1 – 4 years of experience leading software product implementations
• Experience with database design and development; strong SQL skill
• 1-3 Years ASP.NET, .NET, C#, VB.NET
• Understanding of key technology concepts including: project lifecycle, relational databases, wireless networks, handheld devices (i.e., iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices)
