Title: Android Developer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Duration: 3 months contract to hire
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and planning of architecture to support goals of the project
• Design, implement, and support Android and other mobile software solutions
• Assist development teams in activities such as troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Utilize a working knowledge of Java to troubleshoot technical issues (error messages, bugs with the software, availability)
• Proactively communicate with the development, QA teams, and management to anticipate configuration management issues/processes
• Proactively seek opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes
• Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization’s Agile project lifecycle
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent degree
• 8+ years overall Java development experience
• 2-3 years experience analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions for Android
• Experience using and managing change management tools, Subversion
• Experience developing with: Android SDK, Eclipse, JSON/REST
• Familiar with the concepts of SDLC and Scrum/Agile
• Exceptional interpersonal communications skills
