Title: Mobile Developer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Duration: 3 months contract to hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Delight the customer by continuously delivering working solutions to their problems
• Deliver excellence in all aspects of the development process, from understanding the needs of the customer, laying out design, developing applications, and testing software
• Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project lifecycle, by showing respect for your teammates and fulfilling whatever role is needed to accomplish the mission
• Utilize a working knowledge of iOS development to troubleshoot technical issues (error messages, bugs with the software, availability)
• Adhere to standards and best practices, and help identify when the standards and best practices are no longer valid
• Constantly seek opportunities to learn and improve team processes


Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable experience
• 2-5 years of developing with an OO language such as Java, .net, or Objective-C
• Understanding of software development and basic development constructs
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience using mobile technologies
• Working knowledge of database technology, such as database administration, SQL, and JPA/Hibernate
• Understanding of continuous integration
• Understanding of web services (JAX-WS, SOAP, JAX-RS, REST, Jersey)
• Experience with advanced XML concepts, such as XPATH, XSLT, SAX
• Experience with contributing to an open source software project
• Experience with automated testing
• Knowledge of change management tools, Git, Subversion, TortoiseSVN
• Understanding with Agile, including Scrum and XP
• Scrum Master certification
