Programme Manager
at O2 in Slough - UK
The Products and Services Programme Manager will be responsible for working with the Head of Products and Services to influence the services development, implementation and localisation across the Group OB’s (UK, IE, DE, CZ, ES and Latam).
The Programme Manager will be required to co-ordinate all aspects of the delivery of the services through the perspective Project Manager and specific local representatives and ensure that projects are delivered on time and to specification.
The key projects of the Products and Services area of the Mobile Data Group are the Games Folder, the innovative Social Gaming service, the O2 Priority music events application, the Live Music service for live streaming of music events and eBooks client.
The role is a Group function and will therefore involve working and building relationships in a multi-cultural / cross-functional environment.
European / International experience of Programme Management in content services preferably within a Telco, Internet or Customer facing Technology environment.
Ability to think strategically and demonstrate awareness of programme significance within Group and each OB.
Working knowledge of the Mobile Content environment and associated technologies.
Ability to monitor, oversee and deliver cross-functional and business wide programmes within a defined timeframe.
Proven record in track programme management of operational services involving significant detail.
Excellent communication, organisational and influencing skills with a proven ability to work with individuals from other cultures / countries.
Complete understanding of the mobile content environment / industry, consumption, competition technology and market drivers.
Consummate team player-able to work in a cross functional environment.
Ability to build internal / external relationships and gain respect and credibility.
Rudimentary understanding of the technology environment and technological process.
Strong IT skills (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Internet applications etc).
