Android/Java Programmer

Total Immersion Software is spinning off a start-up subsidiary to work on mobile games development. We are currently focused on DARPA contracts in the mobile space and will be rapidly taking our products and releasing them commercially. Development will take place at a brand new office space reserved specifically for this team and located in the heart of downtown Austin. We are looking for Android engineers to augment our team. Job responsibilities would include working with an existing code base and extending the functionality we provide to the government for our commercial launch. We are looking to hire an engineer that has 5+ years of experience and has built software projects commercially, personally or open source.
Required Experience:
* Java programming skills * Experience with REST Interface * Experience working with Android SDKAndroid-Java Pro * Networking experience * Strong problem solving skills * Ability to quickly pick up new skills and tasks * Experience developing from the application to the user interface levelRecommended Experience:
